Resourcing is a Community Resiliency Model (CRM) practice that invites a person to bring to mind something that feels calming, comforting, or supportive. This might be a person, place, memory, activity, or even an imagined setting. The purpose is to notice sensations of comfort or steadiness in the body rather than focusing only on what feels difficult.
Try This
Think of something that helps you feel safe, calm, or supported — a favorite place, a trusted person, a pet, or a positive memory. Rather than replaying the whole story, notice what you feel in your body when you think about it — maybe warmth, ease, or relaxation. You can return your attention to this whenever you want.
